We have several members of our church who travel to Asia, Africa, and Central America on short-term missions trips to help build churches, strengthen local ministries, and perform other outreach missions among disadvantaged people. Scott Clark, another of our members, is teaching on long-term mission in Querétaro, Mexico.
Kids Alive Guatemala
We support Kids Alive International and their efforts to support child, family, and community development in Guatemala. Kids Alive International rescues orphans and vulnerable children from dangerous situation, giving them the care that they need and teaching them about the hope of Jesus Christ so that they can share that hope with others.
Operation Christmas Child
We also parter with Operation Christmas Child every year, filling shoeboxes with gifts and hygiene items for children and families all over the world. The shoeboxes are sent to over 100 countries to pastors and other community members who are trained to share the Gospel, and they distribute the shoeboxes at child-friendly outreach events.
We are developing a team to join Scott Clark in Querétaro, Mexico for a week of service from Friday, April 3rd to Saturday, April 11th. We need prayer warriors and anyone with a heart and mind focused on Jesus, with ears ready to hear, a mouth ready to speak the Word, hands and feet that are willing to serve, and a desire to grow in Christ.
Mornings will be spent working at Casa Forjando, an ecumenical outreach that serves the underprivileged communities as a shelter and soup kitchen. Afternoons and/or evenings will be spent outlying small communities sharing the Word of God.
Please contact us or reach out to Joy or Adrian Whichard if you are interested.
